Every year we renew and evolve the Academy Modules, offering content that is always fresh and up to date. Yet regardless of the instrument being designed, everything we cover revolves around six core universal themes:

Experience
You will learn how to analyze a guitar’s spectrum, identify Chladni patterns, calculate monopole mobility, measure the mechanical and acoustic properties of tonewood, and use this information to design your instrument at its best.
Tools
You will take home a fully functional measurement system, set up to characterize both wood and your guitars, along with spreadsheets for deriving the most important parameters.

HOA Handouts
Included in the registration fee are the Official Handouts containing all the slides presented during the Academies. At each edition they are reprinted to be fully aligned with the Module programs.
The HOA Kit
During the practical sessions you will also use original HOA tools:
- The Arena Speaker, with Bluetooth amplifier, for identifying Chladni patterns
- The Rialto Deflection Gauge, for measuring soundboard deflection.
